Uses:
Cytogem 200mg is commonly used for the treatment of:
  1. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  2. Pancreatic cancer
  3. Breast cancer
  4. Ovarian cancer

Storage Instructions:
  1. Store below 25°C in a dry place
  2. Protect from light and moisture
  3. After reconstitution, use immediately or refrigerate (2–8°C) for up to 24 hours
  4. Do not freeze reconstituted solution

How it Works (Mechanism of Action):
Gemcitabine is a pyrimidine analog that is incorporated into DNA during replication. It inhibits DNA polymerase and halts cell division. Additionally, it reduces the pool of deoxynucleotides available for DNA synthesis by inhibiting ribonucleotide reductase, resulting in apoptosis of cancer cells.
