It is administered as a subcutaneous injection and helps reduce pain, swelling, and disease progression.

  2. Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) – Helps control joint and skin symptoms.
  3. Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) – Treats inflammatory back pain and stiffness.

How Exemptia 40 mg Works (Mechanism of Action):
  1. Adalimumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α).
  2. TNF-α is a protein involved in inflammatory and immune responses.
  3. By blocking TNF-α, Exemptia reduces inflammation, pain, swelling, and tissue damage.
  4. This helps prevent disease progression and improves the patient’s quality of life.
