Temotero 100mg contains Temozolomide, a potent alkylating agent used in the treatment of brain tumors. It is commonly administered in combination with radiation therapy or as part of maintenance therapy in adult patients.

How it Works (Mechanism of Action):
Temozolomide is a DNA-alkylating agent that is converted in the body to its active form, MTIC. MTIC methylates DNA at guanine residues, which damages the DNA and leads to the death of rapidly dividing tumor cells through apoptosis.

  4. The 100mg capsule allows for flexible dose adjustments, especially in combination with 20mg, 250mg capsules, etc.

Method of Administration:
  1. Take orally on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after food)
  2. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew
  3. Take at the same time daily for consistency
  4. Use gloves or wash hands after handling the capsule

Precautions:
  1. Regular blood tests needed to monitor blood counts
  2. Avoid in pregnant and breastfeeding women
  3. Use effective contraception during and for at least 6 months after therapy
  4. Avoid live vaccines during treatment
  5. Caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment

Drug Interactions:
