Votrient 200mg is a targeted therapy used to treat certain types of cancer, especially renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and advanced soft tissue sarcoma. It belongs to a class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and is taken orally as a tablet. Votrient is widely prescribed for patients who are intolerant or unresponsive to prior chemotherapy or immunotherapy.

  1. Treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC)
  2. Treatment of advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS)
  3. Used in second-line therapy when other treatments fail
  4. Investigated for treating thyroid cancer
  5. May be used for certain aggressive tumors under clinical supervision
  6. Helps slow tumor progression and prolong survival

Storage Instructions:
  1. Store at room temperature, below 30°C (86°F)
  2. Keep in a dry place away from moisture and light
  3. Keep out of reach of children

How it Works (Mechanism of Action):
Pazopanib works by inhibiting multiple tyrosine kinases, including VEGFR, PDGFR, and c-Kit, which are essential for cancer cell growth and angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels).
  1. By blocking these pathways, Votrient reduces blood supply to tumors, preventing their growth and spread.
  2. It essentially starves cancer cells by restricting nutrients and oxygen.
