Product Intro:
Etibo 250mg contains Lapatinib, a dual tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets HER2 and EGFR pathways. It is prescribed to patients with advanced breast cancer, particularly those who have previously received other HER2-targeted treatments. Etibo is commonly used in combination with other medications like capecitabine or letrozole.

Uses:
Etibo 250mg is used to treat:
  1. HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer
  2. Hormone receptor-positive and HER2-positive breast cancer
  3. Breast cancer patients resistant to trastuzumab therapy
  4. Breast cancer in combination with capecitabine
  5. Breast cancer in combination with letrozole
  6. Investigational use in other HER2-driven cancers

Storage Instructions:
  1. Store at room temperature below 30°C
  2. Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight
  3. Keep the bottle tightly closed
  4. Keep out of reach of children

How it Works (Mechanism of Action):
Lapatinib inhibits the tyrosine kinase domains of two key receptors: HER2 (ErbB2) and EGFR (ErbB1). This dual inhibition blocks key pathways that drive the growth and survival of cancer cells, particularly in HER2-overexpressing tumors, leading to reduced tumor proliferation.

Side Effects:
Common Side Effects:
