Product Intro:
Pomide 4mg is a prescription medication used in combination with other drugs for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma in adult patients. It belongs to a class of medications called immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs) and is known for its dual action: stimulating the immune system and directly affecting the growth of myeloma cells.

Uses:
  1. Treatment of multiple myeloma in patients who have received at least two prior therapies
  2. Used in combination with dexamethasone
  3. Helps reduce the growth and survival of myeloma cells
  4. Stimulates T-cell and natural killer (NK) cell activity
  5. Modulates the immune response to target cancer cells
  6. May reduce inflammation and angiogenesis in tumor tissues

Storage Instructions:
  1. Store at room temperature, between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F)
  2. Protect from moisture and light
  3. Keep out of reach of children and pets
  4. Handle with care — do not open capsules

How it Works (Mechanism of Action):
Pomalidomide works through multiple mechanisms:
  1. Enhances T-cell and NK-cell mediated immunity, promoting the destruction of cancer cells
  2. Inhibits angiogenesis, thus starving the tumor of blood supply
  3. Directly affects myeloma cell growth and induces apoptosis (programmed cell death)
  4. Suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines in the bone marrow microenvironment
